Baseball Recap: Manistee Sets Scoring Season-High Against Orchard View

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manistee). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Orchard View Cardinals a 13-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Miles Joseph was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mason Robinson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.

Manistee pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Orchard View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
