Football Game Preview: Chico Dragons vs. Muenster Hornets

Chico is 0-5 against Muenster since October of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Dragons will host the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Chico has given up an average of 38.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Chico was beaten by Era 41-6.

Meanwhile, Muenster entered their tilt with Collinsville on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 49-28 margin over the Pirates. With the Hornets ahead 28-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Muenster had a senior duo take command as Casen Carney rushed for 69 yards and one TD and Nolan Peel gained 140 total yards and two touchdowns.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Muenster, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
