Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orchard View). They managed a 70-66 victory over the Newaygo Lions on Tuesday. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 67-58 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Orchard View's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Newaygo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orchard View will host Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newaygo, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions face off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
