Soccer Recap: Humble Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Humble has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Atascocita Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Eagles are ranked 97th).

Humble's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Atascocita, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Humble face off against the King at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atascocita, they will take on Kingwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
