Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northwood walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over the Southwest Onslow Stallions on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won 18 games in a row.

Cam Fowler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 52% from the field to rack up 28 points and five rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least 19 points. Hayes Burleson was another key player, going 7-for-9 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Northwood's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.4 points. As for Southwest Onslow, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-4.

Looking ahead, Northwood will challenge West Bladen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Bladen will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Northwood surely won't give up without a fight. Southwest Onslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
