Volleyball Recap: North Henderson Comes Up Short

North Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Enka Jets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.

Wantong Phoeun paced North Henderson's offense, picking up five kills. Phoeun got some help from Jaden Cordoba and his six assists. Cordoba was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

North Henderson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Enka, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, North Henderson will challenge Pisgah at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Enka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
