It was a good run, but De Soto unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to the Kickapoo Panthers 63-58. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 48-34 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

De Soto's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Kickapoo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De Soto will take on Wauzeka-Steuben in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday at. Wauzeka-Steuben will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something De Soto surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kickapoo, they will take on Brookwood at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kickapoo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
