Football Recap: Oak Hill Falls Short of George Washington in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Hill can now relate to. They took a blow against the George Washington Patriots on Friday, falling 58-14. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-0.

George Washington found their leader in freshman Jaden Black, who rushed for 204 yards and six touchdowns on only 15 carries. Thanks to that big game, Black is now up to 25 rushing touchdowns on the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cy Persinger, who rushed for 34 yards and one TD.

Oak Hill is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6. As for George Washington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George Washington, they will face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
