Football Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. South Lyon Lions + How To Watch

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will head out to square off against the South Lyon Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Dexter sitting on six straight wins and South Lyon on ten.

Dexter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Franklin to the tune of 42-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dreadnaughts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Patriots are ranked 154th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Lyon faced off against South Lyon East on Friday. The Lions blew past the Cougars, posting a 45-7 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

South Lyon's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Dexter, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Dexter strolled past South Lyon in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a score of 24-7. Will the Dreadnaughts repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
