Soccer Recap: Vicksburg Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Vicksburg was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Cannon Jackson was the only thing that stood between Vicksburg and a shutout considering he scored both of Vicksburg's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Vicksburg's draw makes their record 1-3-1 this season. Meanwhile, Wayne County's record is now 2-0-2.

Coming up, Vicksburg will welcome North Pike at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne County, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Laurel on the 8th.
