Basketball Recap: Cameron's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Cameron, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-49 win over the Lawson Cardinals on Tuesday. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

When it comes to explaining why Lawson lost, don't look at Isaac Willoughby. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Elijah Grote, who posted nine points.

Cameron's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Lawson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Cameron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-45 win against Meadville on the 20th. As for Lawson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-24 victory against Lathrop on the 20th.
