Soccer Game Preview: Preuss UCSD vs. King-Chavez Community

The Preuss UCSD Tritons will square off against the King-Chavez Community Lions at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Preuss UCSD's offense. They fell 2-0 to Gompers Prep Academy on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Tritons in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, King-Chavez Community also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 6-0 to Bayfront Charter last Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King-Chavez Community's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Preuss UCSD, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Preuss UCSD's way against King-Chavez Community when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as Preuss UCSD made off with a 9-0 victory.
