Northshore came tearing into Thursday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fontainebleau Bulldogs. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Carson Malasovich spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Northshore's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Dukes, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Northshore's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Fontainebleau, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
