Basketball Recap: Eagleville Takes a Loss

Eagleville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cascade Champions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-38 back in December of 2024.

Leading Cascade to victory were Kaegan Young and Sophie Ray. Young posted 15 points, while Ray earned 14 points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Parker, who put up seven points.

Eagleville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Cascade, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Eagleville has already played their next contest (against Huntland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cascade has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Forrest.
