Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central Takes a Loss

Forsyth Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chattahoochee Cougars. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Isabella Podesta was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and two aces.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chattahoochee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forsyth Central will venture away from home to take on Shiloh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chattahoochee, they will head out to challenge Creekview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
