Everything went their way against the Whitwell Tigers on Thursday as the CSTHEA Patriots made off with a 19-7 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Deklan Burgess was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Burgess was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.
