Soccer Game Preview: Rockwall vs. Forney

Rockwall hasn't had much luck against Forney recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Yellowjackets will welcome the Jackrabbits at 7:15 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rockwall's offense. They fell just short of Longview by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Rockwall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Longview are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, Forney had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They blew past the Raiders 5-1. The result was nothing new for Forney, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Rockwall's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Forney, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.
