Football Game Preview: Bishop Snyder Cardinals vs. Baldwin Indians

The Bishop Snyder Cardinals will square off against the Baldwin Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Snyder's offense hasn't had much luck over their past seven matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Bishop Snyder was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 13-9 to West Nassau.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Baldwin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They snuck past Baker County with a 19-13 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Baldwin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Skylair Asberry and Memphis Perkins. With that strong performance, Perkins is now averaging an impressive 5.2 total tackles per game.

Bishop Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Baldwin, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Bishop Snyder didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Baldwin in their previous meeting last Thursday, but they still walked away with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
