It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Salem Hills can now relate to. They came up short against the Wasatch Wasps on Wednesday, falling 57-36. The game was a close 24-21 at the break, but unfortunately for the Skyhawks it sure didn't stay that way.

Salem Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kade Moser, who went 6-for-12 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Gasser, who posted seven points and five boards.

Salem Hills dropped their record down to 8-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wasatch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Salem Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wasatch, they will square off against Olympus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympus knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Wasatch likes a good challenge.
