Softball Recap: Keystone Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keystone can now relate to. They came up short against the Poland Seminary Bulldogs on Monday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Poland Seminary, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Keystone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poland Seminary, they will take on Norwayne at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season.
