Antwerp has gone 9-1 against Hicksville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. The Archers will take on the Aces at 5:00  p.m. Antwerp is coming into the  game on  a  three-game losing streak.
Antwerp made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Edgerton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Archers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of  5-3 on Tuesday.
 Elle Clem spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Alia Clem and  Haydyn Lengacher stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Clem  went 3-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI, while  Lengacher  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Hicksville, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Wayne Trace  3-2 on Tuesday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Aces as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Hicksville also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Aleyah Keeley gave up two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Evy McAlexander, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and two  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 Hicksville's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-7. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Antwerp, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
 Antwerp came out on top in a nail-biter against Hicksville when the teams last played  on April 1st, sneaking past  4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Archers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
