Pleasant Grove came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Lehi, but Ellie Hill wouldn't allow it. The Lehi Pioneers walked away with a 50-42 win over the Pleasant Grove Vikings on Friday thanks to Hill, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and four steals. She has become a key player for Lehi: the team is undefeated when she posts at least three steals, but 9-10 otherwise.

When it comes to explaining why Pleasant Grove lost, don't look at Tabi Clark. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 45.2% of Pleasant Grove's points, marking the fifth time in a row Clark has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cash Connors, who earned four points and eight boards.

Lehi's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Pleasant Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lehi will challenge Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Layton at 7:00 p.m. Pleasant Grove is facing Layton at the right time seeing as Layton is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
