Volleyball Recap: Weeping Water Indians vs. Cedar Bluffs Wildcats
Weeping Water was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Huskey, who had 14 digs and two aces. Jaelis Brito- Diaz was another key player, getting 18 digs.
Weeping Water's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Cedar Bluffs, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.
