Softball Recap: Wells Drops Highest Score of Season Against Neches

Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neches Tigers. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wells' loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Neches, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Wells and Neches will both be playing Apple Springs the next time they take the field. Wells will head out to face Apple Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Neches will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.
