Pace is 9-1 against Donna North since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Pace Vikings will finish 2024 at home by hosting the Donna North Chiefs at 2:30 p.m. Donna North took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pace, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Pace didn't have too much trouble with Porter as they won 33-19. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Pace can attribute much of their success to Kayla Cavazos, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 15 points and four steals, and Bre Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Those 15 points gave Cavazos a new career-high.

Pace smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Donna North played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Rivera an easy 53-28 win. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Pace will need focus on slowing down Jackie Rincon, one of several Donna North players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That was a full 50% of Donna North's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Pace's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-12. As for Donna North, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Pace strolled past Donna North in their previous meeting back in November by a score of 32-14. Does Pace have another victory up their sleeve, or will Donna North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
