Volleyball Recap: Savannah Takes a Loss

Savannah saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Pius X Lancers.

Aryana Spry paced Savannah's offense, picking up six kills. Spry got some help from Reece Gould and her 11 assists.

Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Pius X, the victory (which was their 20th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Savannah has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Odessa on the 30th. As for St. Pius X, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Notre Dame de Sion on the 30th.
