Football Game Preview: McMinn Central Chargers vs. Austin-East Roadrunners + How To Watch

The McMinn Central Chargers will take on the Austin-East Roadrunners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McMinn Central has three straight wins, Austin-East has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

McMinn Central will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Sweetwater, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Chargers walked away with a 20-13 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Austin-East had to suffer through a 47-6 loss at the hands of Meigs County. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Tigers are ranked 89th).

McMinn Central's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Austin-East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
