Cardinal Gibbons never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sanderson Spartans as they made off with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Cardinal Gibbons let Bryce Fitzsimmons and Jakub Mudd run wild. Fitzsimmons went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple, while Mudd went 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. Those five hits gave Fitzsimmons a new career-high. Jack Richards was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Cardinal Gibbons always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sanderson only posted an OBP of .211.

Cardinal Gibbons has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
