Volleyball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Comes Up Short + How To Watch

R.J. Reynolds lost against Reagan back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Demons came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-18.

Sylvia Fitzgerald paced R.J. Reynolds' offense, picking up seven kills. Fitzgerald got some help from Isabella Neff and her six assists. Fitzgerald was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Taryn Strahm was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 assists and two aces. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

R.J. Reynolds' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Reagan, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. R.J. Reynolds will welcome High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reagan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest Guilford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
