All ranked teams avoided upsets over the weekend, leading to little turnover in this week's Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and Spartanburg (S.C.) both secured victories over ranked foes, securing their spots in the rankings.

The most impressive effort from a Top 10 team came courtesy of DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.), which dominated St. John's 40-0. It has allowed just 48 points in five games, registering shutouts each of the last two weeks. At this pace, DeMatha is poised to rise even higher in the rankings.

Entering the rankings this week is St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio). The defending Division I state champion knocked off Cocoa (Fla.) and has several other impressive victories to its name. The Eagles will get a chance to demonstrate that they belong in the rankings immediately, as they take on No. 13 Mainland (Daytona Beach, Fla.) this weekend.
