Basketball Game Preview: Cameron Dragons vs. Penney Hornets

The Cameron Dragons will challenge the Penney Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Penney took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cameron, who comes in off a win.

Cameron saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top against Lawson by a score of 55-46.

Meanwhile, Penney took a blow against Mid-Buchanan last Friday, falling 84-46. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Dragons are ranked 100th).

Cameron is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Penney, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
