Soccer Recap: Wharton Victorious

Wharton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Palacios Sharks out 3-2 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wharton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Palacios, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Wharton will host El Campo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Palacios, they will head out to face off against Columbus at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Columbus' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
