Baseball Game Preview: Brodhead/Juda Cardinals vs. Turner Trojans

Brodhead/Juda is 1-8 against Turner since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cardinals will host the Trojans at 4:45 p.m.

Brodhead/Juda is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Jefferson, falling 11-0.

Brodhead/Juda saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Masloske, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Turner entered their tilt with Evansville on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Blue Devils 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Turner's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. As for Brodhead/Juda, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Brodhead/Juda came out on top in a nail-biter against Turner in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
