Archbishop Hannan and Loranger are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Hawks will square off against the Wolves on Tuesday. Archbishop Hannan's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Archbishop Hannan took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Vandebilt Catholic.

Archbishop Hannan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Relle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Loranger had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 14-3 win.

Loranger's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-15. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Archbishop Hannan, their victory bumped their record up to 19-16.

Archbishop Hannan was able to grind out a solid win over Loranger in their previous meeting back in March, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
