Basketball Recap: Eureka Springs Takes a Loss

Eureka Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Alpena Leopards, falling 65-25. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 52-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Eureka Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Alpena, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-17.

Eureka Springs will take on St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alpena, they are taking a road trip to take on Ozark Catholic Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
