Basketball Recap: Socorro Comes Up Short

Socorro was the 57-41 winner over Hot Springs when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Socorro Warriors took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hot Springs Tigers on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Socorro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Hot Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Socorro will take on Hatch Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Socorro is facing Hatch Valley at the right time seeing as Hatch Valley is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Hot Springs, they will challenge Cobre at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
