The Tullahoma Wildcats took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln County Falcons on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, Tullahoma still got an impressive performance from Marvancy Johnson, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Johnson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

Lincoln County found their leader in underclassman Carsen Carter, who rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. With that strong performance, Carter is now averaging an impressive 104.2 rushing yards per game.

Tullahoma now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lincoln County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
