Basketball Game Preview: Westmont Warriors vs. Christopher Cougars

Westmont hasn't had much luck against Christopher recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Westmont Warriors will challenge the Christopher Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Westmont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They slipped by San Mateo 48-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Christopher entered their tilt with Willow Glen on Thursday with 12 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 13. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 60-52. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Rams are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christopher's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2. As for Westmont, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.
