Soccer Game Preview: Golden Gate vs. Bonita Springs

The Golden Gate Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Bonita Springs Bullsharks at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Golden Gate is headed into the game having not lost since November 19 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Bishop Verot could gain the upper hand last Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Bonita Springs waltzed into their contest last Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Gators onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bullsharks, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Bonita Springs pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six games. With that draw, Golden Gate's record moves to 6-1-4.

Golden Gate skirted past Bonita Springs 3-2 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Golden Gate repeat their success, or does Bonita Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
