Baseball Recap: Henrietta Comes Up Short

Henrietta fell victim to Iowa Park and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Bearcats have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Cooper Coleman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Iowa Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

While Henrietta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
