Basketball Recap: Mt. Mansfield Falls Short Against Ranked St. Johnsbury Academy

On Monday, Mt. Mansfield faced St. Johnsbury Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mt. Mansfield Cougars fell 57-47 to the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost four in a row.

Mt. Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for St. Johnsbury Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
