Volleyball Recap: Tintic Comes Up Short

Tintic lost against Monument Valley back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Miners fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

Monument Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayainna Cly, who had 17 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Cly has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nay'Myia Morgan, who had ten digs.

Tintic's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Monument Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season.

Tintic has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Beaver on the 18th. As for Monument Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Escalante on the 18th.
