Poudre faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Impalas walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win was familiar territory for the Impalas, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Spir Tullius paced Poudre's offense, picking up nine kills. Tullius got some help from Chais Soderberg and his 18 assists. Tullius was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Arvada West still got an impressive performance from Anden Draper, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Poudre's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Arvada West, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
