Basketball Game Preview: Kansas Comets vs. Adair Warriors

The Kansas Comets are taking a road trip to challenge the Adair Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kansas has three straight wins, Adair has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Kansas got the win against Salina by a conclusive 56-32. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Adair was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to Jay.

Kansas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Adair, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Kansas was able to grind out a solid victory over Adair when the teams last played back in January, winning 61-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kansas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
