 The Easley Green Wave will head out on the road to  challenge  the Wade Hampton Generals at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Wade Hampton took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Easley, who comes in off a win.
 Wade Hampton is hoping to do  on Monday what Greenville couldn't  on Thursday: put an end to Easley's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Easley came out on top against Greenville by a score of  6-3.
  Cole Davis looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Aaron Tolbert, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Wade Hampton came up short against Laurens on Wednesday and fell  6-3.
 Easley's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Wade Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
 Easley skirted past Wade Hampton  8-6 when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Easley since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
