Ariana Akey was her usual excellent self, throwing for 255 yards and seven TDs while completing 72% of her passes, and also rushing for 108 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Those seven passing touchdowns gave her a new career-high. Kayleigh Besch did her part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 88 receiving yards.
Rock Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 32-12 defeat against Chaparral on the 27th. As for Mountain Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 54-6 victory against Valor Christian on the 25th.
