Softball Game Preview: Scurry-Rosser Wildcats vs. Rice Bulldogs

Scurry-Rosser is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Rice a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Rice Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Scurry-Rosser's offense. They came up short against Blooming Grove on Monday, falling 15-0.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Rice lost 10-3 to Palmer.

Rice saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Landeros, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Scurry-Rosser, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Scurry-Rosser took their victory against Rice when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 21-7 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
