Matthew Nevarez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out three batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
