Baseball Recap: Lone Pine Golden Eagles vs. Mineral County Serpents
Lone Pine barely beat Mineral County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Lone Pine was the clear victor by a 20-12 margin over Mineral County on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Golden Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Maxiel Lopez Mojarro was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Quezada, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Lone Pine always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
