 Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 16-5 walloping at the hands of the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Armstrong of the  11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Monday.
 Armstrong saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Acasia Gernentz, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Gernentz has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Another player making a difference was  Ellie Jameson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 On Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's side,  Eva Ronto made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and not a single walk). Ronto was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin got a  massive  performance out of  Ava Acton, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.  Gentry Elson was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Armstrong now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
 Armstrong will be playing at home against Westville at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Westville's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3  runs per game  this season, so Armstrong's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Oakwood at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three matches.
